Along with outdoor outfitter Heimplanet, Afew created a capsule collection that is functional and yet perfectly integrated into the urban habitat. The collection features a backpack, a T-shirt and a 5 panel cap. Afew found inspiration from the classic Koi Design. Dutch artist Künster Kwills put together the ‘Koi Camouflage’ design. The design is reminiscent of the colored scales on Japanese ornamental fish. The lining in the backpack and the cap also uses this camouflage design. Even the shirt was fitted with the camo print.
The backpack use a combination of ballistic nylon and suede materials. It can be worn as a backpack or as a messenger bag. With the 2 adjustable shoulder straps and the additionally supplied single belt, the backpack easily converts to a messenger bag. A zipper on the side allows for fast access to the interior. Furthermore, there is an all-round zipper on the front that can be opened completely. Discreet co-branding is located on the shoulder straps and at the front.
The collection also includes a 5 panel cap and shirt. The 5 panel cap also includes the ‘Koi Camouflage’ pattern from Kwills as lining in the cap. Black suede adorns the top of the cap. The visor comes with a light grey hue above, and red on the bottom. The ‘Afew-Heimplanet’ box logo is featured prominently on the cap’s front. In addition, the cap includes a small label with ‘Afew Words’ embroidered on the adjustable strap.
The shirts are made of durable 100% combed cotton. The tees feature the ‘Koi Camouflage’ pattern, as well as the logos of ‘Heimplanet’ and ‘Afew’.
The Afew x Heimplanet ‘Future Koi’ Collection will be available online at Afew-Store.com on May 21st.
