Men’s body care brand Journeymen just launched a docu-series entitled ‘We Are Journeymen’. The series features video profiles of different creative influencers that the founders have met throughout their travels and who exemplify the spirit of Journeymen. The second video of the series features Kyle Ng from streetwear brand Brain Dead.
In the video, one half of the creative duo behind Brain Dead talks through his philosophies on creativity and how the brand hit the scene. Ng takes you through his journey after moving to LA at the age of 18 without any connections in the city, and how he was inspired to make clothing as an outlet to highlight his other passions — punk music, film, comic books, art and more. This attitude is still what drives the brand and its collaborations today, as hand-painted movie posters get printed on shirts and Brain Dead Records makes merchandise for things like Thai psychedelic bands.
