Shot on location at the Grade-I listed Tyne Theatre and Opera House in the heart of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, the Victorian theatre is one of only ten in existence from its era. Built in 1867, the building is noted for its lavish auditorium and original wooden stage machinery – both of which have been marked as of outstanding national importance.
