A seminal New York brand and one that highlights the globe-trotting approach and adventurous attitude of contemporary menswear, the latest from Engineered Garments is online now here at END.

For this season designer Daiki Suzuki has revisited a selection of EG favourites, alongside a new range of jersey pieces, shirting and outerwear, all of which are executed with meticulous attention to design and detail.

A new family of silhouettes for 2014, the Gym Pants, Crew and Hoody are all cut from a loosely woven cotton jersey and feature a level of detailing most designers would apply to much more complex items.

A definite highlight of every EG drop is their expertly executed shirting and for AW14, Mr Suzuki definitely doesn’t disappoint, with new iterations of the modern classic 19th Century Button Down, relaxed cut Lafayette Shirt and heavy duty Work Shirt, all cut from brand new fabrics for this season.

Finishing things off as ever, is a painstakingly designed range of outerwear, taking inspiration from archive tailoring, classic work wear and time tested outerwear.

For AW14 both the Bedford and Coverall Jackets make a welcome return in hard wearing nyco and cotton moleskin fabrics respectively, the CPO Shirt Jacket and Expedition Jacket take a workwear classic to the next level and the Garments Hooded Down Vest exemplify Daiki’s fundamental understanding of the balance between complexity and simplicity within menswear design.
