Established in 2006, SUICOKE is a cult Japanese brand that has become known worldwide for its wide selection of performance sandals, which also starred in collaborations with partners the likes of Norse Projects and Mastermind. Neoprene panels, adjustable nylon straps, molded vibram footbed and vibram morflex soles are the elements which stand out in all SUICOKE sandals.
Taking inspiration from Issey Miyake bold colors of the late ‘90s, for spring 2016 SUICOKE launches the Kisee sandal in collaboration with European distributor Slam Jam, both in men and women’s sizes. The nylon straps are offered in three colorways, royal, red and military – this one is sold exclusively in Slam Jam’s stores – while the neoprene panels feature a unique black and white pattern. Curated by a duo of Slam Jam’s friends – photographer Bea De Giacomo and stylist Anna Carraro -, the campaign was shot in a one-of-a-kind space in Milan, whose peculiarities provide the perfect frame for the products colors and features.
The Slam Jam x SUICOKE sandals will be available as of April 23rd exclusively on SlamJamSocialism.com.
