This season one of the most eye-catching pieces from the Autumn Winter 2015 collection is the Mussola Gommata Blouson jacket. The Mussola Gommata fabric is exclusive to Stone Island and is crafted by laminating a light cotton muslin fabric to an outer matte transparent polyurethane film. The jacket is then given its unique colouration by using a double dye formula which gives this particular material impressive depth of colour.
An oval sheepskin collar gives the garment a ‘flying jacket’ feel whilst a hidden zip fastening feature is accented by branded buttons. Diagonal front pockets and ribbed inner cuffs are functional extras whilst the obligatory Stone Island compass patch badge adorns the left sleeve.
