Born and raised in Tokyo, creative director Tetsu Nishiyama launched WTAPS back in 1996 and this year marks the Japanese streetwear giants 20th anniversary. Having originally started out creating t-shirts with graphic prints and messages, the pieces soon evolved into a globally recognized brand.

The latest Autumn/Winter collection highlights what the brand does best, continuing to produce signature military-themed aesthetics. Titled “EX.33,” the instalment features a heavy selection of outerwear, relaxed-fit pants and a number of basic staple t-shirts.The “EX.33” collection is a compilation of the label’s successful history with American influences seen through the eyes of the designer.
